Ublog Reload, written entirely in ASP/VbScript, allows an easy, flexible integration into any webpage with on-line configuration.
Ublog Reload presents a modular design and is database driven ( Microsoft Access, Microsoft SQL Server or MySql Server - on-line database creation script for Microsoft SQL Server and MySql Server version is available ).
Features:
Password protected control system ( Data Encryption System ) Member login ( optional ): autologin ( via a Cookie ) , log-out system and a password reminder system.
Appearance configuration : option to choose the blog layout and to change the blog title, colors, spans, span size etc. with a web-based control panel, allowing for integration with your site
Blog Archive : listing by date ( calendar based ), by category; Search engine ( search matches highlighted on the page ); Recent entries listing. A full blog archive is also available.
Email configuration : notify via email to the administrator upon the publication of new blog ( available in OPEN mode) or new comment.
Ublog Reload supports a wide range of email components : JMAIL, ASPEMAIL, ASPMAIL, CDONTS ( default on Windows 2000 Server; disable on Windows 2003 Server ), CDOSYS ( default on Windows 2000/2003 Server ). Option to choose the email format ( TEXT or HTML ). SMTP Server Authentication ( if required ).

Weblog modalities : option to select the kind of weblog: "open" - all users can post new blogs - "closed" - only the administrator can post new blogs. option to select "required user login" ( option allowed in "open" mode for the publication of a new blog ); blogs subdivision in "categories and subcategory"; option to publish a blog in more than one category ( multicategories ).
Amend or remove blogs or comments : option to change the blog item date and time. Search engine integrated.
RSS and ATOM feeds : option to create an feed by category, by recent entries, by bloggers or a feed related to the full archive.
TrackBack - send and management : option to send one or more TrackBack Ping URL for each blog entries.
TrackBacks recieved management. TrackBack - view: option to view all the links ( TrackBacks ) ricieved releted to the blog entries.
Categories Management : option to add, delete or amend categories and subcategories.
Users Management : option to add new users ( three levels: admin, moderator and user ), delete or amend existing users.

Compact/Repair Database ( Access version ) : running the Compact Database utility allows you to improve the performance of the database.
Box Management : option to manage the default boxes ( Home, Calendar, Archive, Category, Poll, Recent entries, Search engine, Webcam, Bloggers, Latest Comments, Top Commenters and Counter ), changing their order, visibility , appartenence ( available when the 3 columns layout is active ); option to insert new boxes.
